In my opinion, killing D_K wouldn't have proven your innocence. I really didn't think you were a DF, so killing a DF wouldn't have helped. I had encouraged the Amulet holder to investigate you, but I figured I would, because I didn't know if a Townie controlled the Amulet or if it was still in play.

Since I didn't think you were a DF, you seemed like an excellent candidate for the DF NK, being either a pro-town Vig or a Serial Killer. So I did want to doc you, and thwart the DFs that way. Since I would also cop you, I'd know in later Nights whether I should keep trying to protect you (if you were a vig) or let the DFs kill you (if you were a SK).

And as for the roleblocking part of my ability, I didn't know if you'd go after D_K or not. We had been arguing over who your target should be when the lynch went down, and BlackAdder even posted that he wouldn't blame you if you went off-target. That's all the justification an anti-town player needs, so you could have been going for anyone. I also didn't want to kill D_K without a roleclaim to consider, so even if I was sure you were going after her, I might still have roleblocked you. I knew that roleblocking you would turn up the heat on D_K the next day, something that was fine with me.


Basically, I figured one of my actions would be beneficial. I'd figure out if you were trustworthy or not with my Cop power (with some doubt remaining, because I knew I was a little paranoid, and I didn't know if a SK would show up as innocent or not) OR I'd protect a powerful Town role, a Vig, from the DFs OR I'd prevent you from killing a Town player if you were anti-town.


It didn't quite work like I thought, I got back results that said you were insane, so I figured SK, plus I read your journal which mentioned advisors, so I didn't know if you had been semi-recruited by the DFs or not, so I had you pegged as an excellent lynch candidate. I also prevented you from killing D_K, though she did that anyway. And my Doccing didn't help you at all, nobody went after you.
