...though for a very selfish reason. This is only my second game but I noticed back in my first that people have very definite opinions on which roles are given to scum vs. townies. For instance, a couple people have said roleblocking is a scum role, I believe, which is something I wasn't aware of until someone mentioned it. The games I've been in elsewhere, the roles are usually assigned pretty randomly or are player picked.

and I'm not the only newbie in this game. our punctuation pal would probably face the same dilemna.

So unless someone is willing to list roles and who they're generally affiliated with and give me a pretty solid list, my vote for the five roles is no.

(Another, less selfish reason it's a bad idea is that we have no way to check the results since FT isn't going to give us role info on the dead.)
