Leasel lay on her bed in the silent kitchen, scratching underneath the cast on her arm with a toasting fork. it had been irritating her for the past few days and there wasn't any normal medication in the tavern. her ribs made it hard to walk for long distances, just the short walk to the bar or the privy was hard enough.

"if only there was an Aes Sedai around, i'd be healed in no time" she muttered to the ceiling."time to do some exercise, i don't want to get fat lying here all day". grimacing she sat up and wriggled her feet into her boots. she hated lying around doing nothing because of an idiotic rival band. "what were they thinking, attacking us like that? it was only a few barrels of kaf, for light's sake." standing up she walked over to the chair and pulled her coat on leaving her right sleeve dangling off her shoulder.

as she left the kitchen the door to the taveren banged open "finaly back Kytes?" she called out "what took you so long, you foolish goat?". instead of Kytes standing in the bar there was a group of Ogier, one of them looking less than friendly. in a rumbling voice he asked about merchants.

"there arn't any merchants around here Master Ogier. this town's more or less deserted. its just me and possibly a friend of mine. take what you want, the Stasis Boxes are still working."
