For the record, I disagree with this ruling, it also bans use of trigger phrases prepared during legal NBs, I'm open to banning previous NBs for use in this method but your current ruling bans masons, scummers, etc from being able to prepare trigger phrases for during the day, like "If I title a message with X, vote for the first person I name" and so on. I can appreciate wanting this out of play since it gives an unfair advantage to those who have previously modded or being scum/mason a lot, but trigger phrases are an important tactic.

Suggest:

Change to Rules
Players may not use Noteboards, emails, instant messenger, etc not exchanged legally in the current game for any form of communication regarding the current game, except where that information is posted openly in the game thread

This way it still allows trigger phrases developed during nights for use in the game, while not banning any posting or use of prior of relevant old NBs, i.e. "X is using the same tactic he and I discussed in Game #, here's the NB we had discussing it" etc.
