Players may not use Noteboards, emails, instant messenger, etc not exchanged legally in the current game for any form of communication regarding the current game, except where that information is posted openly in the game thread


That's pretty much what I meant.

What you're doing here is attempting to convey new information using noteboards, whereas the use of established triggers is merely an explanation of how you will convey new information in-game. In the example of established triggers, you're openly transmitting the information, and the cipher was transmitted legally via noteboards. Here, you're transmitting the cipher openly while the information is via noteboards. That's why I have a problem with it.
The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
