I don't think the Rules address this: does a modkill that doesn't end the day come out with their role claim right there or does that wait till the end of the day? I forget what was done in the past. Either way, I think we should lynch Berg rather than let the mod take him. I know your whole philosophy regarding no lynches but I really don't like the idea of 2 day 1 lynches. There's absolutely no info to go off of. If it was day 2 or beyond, I'd say go for it but right now, it's like we're stabbing in the dark. IMHO, 1 kill is enough. I know you won't agree but I don't like the idea of blindly killing on such unreliable information.


Hmm. Generally speaking, inactivity is antitown, which is why we're using it as a factor to decide who to lynch. However, scum are usually inactive, not absent. There are exceptions of course, I remember the ninja faction in my last game ended with a modkill. Generally speaking, however, mafia are more likely to post little of value but regularly enough not to attract unwanted attention. People who don't post at all, even when at risk of modkill, are typically not scum.

Which is why I'd rather we lynch someone else if we can get him modkilled instead.


I see what you're saying and acknowledge and understand it as a definite plausible way to play out this day. I, however, am inclined to stand by what I said and would just prefer to lynch him.
