Dresden Files – With the newest of 13 books coming out July 26th, Dresden Files is a modern day mix of magic and murder-mystery featuring Chicago’s only professional wizard, Harry Dresden... who is unfortunately unavailable to solve the current murder, leaving it up to you. Game setup features 13-day deadlines with each Day equaling a fortnight of game time.
Revelation Space – A hard sci-fi series that’s half Lovecraft-style horror, a major feature of Revelation Space is that there is no warp drive, so interstellar travel takes place on board ‘Lighthuggers’, gigantic ships that coast from system to system over years, mostly crewed by small groups of Ultras, groups generally considered for being vicious, half-cyborg, and often borderline psychotic who spend most of their time in hibernation sleep between stars. When a murder occurs during hibernation, the crew awakes to find the murder occurred years ago… now the Ultras and a few of their passengers find themselves trying to find the murderer before they go back into hibernation sleep. Their murder investigation could take decades as they wander from planet to planet.
Warhammer 40k – In the grim darkness of the future the galaxy is dominated by a repressive and xenocidal Empire of a million worlds… and they’re just about the nicest guys around. Join Imperial Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn in his quest to stamp out Daemons, Aliens, and Heretics on the Hive World of Thracian Primaris.
Alex Cross – A long running modern murder-mystery starting withAlong Came the Spider, Detective Alex Cross is regularly pitted against the most deranged serial killers, often acting in groups.
Blade Runner – This Cult Classic takes place inthe distant future and dystopian future, 2019 AD, in the City of Los Angeles which has become swamped in smog and crime, a massive slum where corporations have all the power Modern Times. A recent series of murders points to androids, and you’ve been gathered together to help root them out before they kill again.
The Untouchables – A game which actually features genuine mafia, this game is designed for a very classic Mafiascum setup.
