Also, while I do recognize your point about 'going over old info' being what my plan amounts to, I don't really see how 'Plan E' will produce new info, now admittedly I doubt having brought it up the majority of people will just throw half-serious accusations at ? for the semi-claim and me for being me, but all that means is they'll do Plan F but end up skipping various people and repeating themselves on someone else, same concept but more hassle and less coverage. It's also being a touch unrealistic to expect that voluntary target selection will help much, if you're loosely relying around a hope that scummers will avoid accusing each other and that a eventually dead scummer might essentially highlight someone as clean by having accused them under Plan E, the results of that sort of thing tend to be all WIFOM-y like Hypcopping, scummers often hypocop each other and often don't and you can't reliably determine anything off that. All we'll get is a bunch of people screwing up their long encryptions of entire arguments, followed by fairly half-arsed attempts to make a case for why they themselves aren't scummy by accusing that person, as opposed to F where everyone will know they were assigned that person and told to make a case. You know how reluctant most of the players generally are to be the initial accuser, especially where the case isn't strong, except for the players who are almost always Vote #1 or #2 who hardly need to encode their arguments and would already have put them out if they saw something.

Now, if you want everyone to make 2 cases, one selected randomly and one by themselves, I'm fine with that, it can hardly hurt, but at least with random, as you admit, people will be combing over for previously missed clues and indicators, and we all know there are always tons of those in hindsight so there is a real chance of turning up some decent ones.
