Xanthe's deductions prove correct, and with a slight detour out in the cold night, she finds her way to the side door through which the kitchen is supplied and restocked.

Fortunately, it is not raining tonight, which is often the case in Amadician winters, so Xanthe takes her time opening the door with all the necessary discretion, intent on not alerting the cook and her underlings to her intrusion. They are still at the common room door, watching Sammil perform and paying no attention to the cooking they should be doing. Cauldrons and pans boil and simmer on the stove, only absentmindedly tended, and Xanthe notices a large clay jug on a counter, likely the very wine Maravin ordered minutes ago, now completely forgotten by the serving maids.

With cautious haste, the Illianer makes her way to one of the closets, hoping to find her quarry inside. Luck is with her, as a number of aprons are hung there, ready for use, and she can easily and quickly snatch one up for her own use.

Xanthe has succeeded at a Stealth Skill Check (16+8=24).
The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
