Assets are much more fragile now than in the last game since militias cannot be trusted and are at worst a hindrance. Guaranteed incone is always guaranteed income, even if it is small.


The loyalty of the militia may be variable at times but I'd not call them worthless, events might make them rebel but it will generally be cost prohibitive to incite rebellions by rival houses. They still defend the location as well as a marine battalion and cost nothing to upkeep. I don't see troop loyalty being to huge of a concern, against rival houses anyway.
