Seems pretty obvious that I'm in the beginning stages of being bussed. Isaac was incredibly eager to grasp at the first straw he could to implicate someone. You'll note that I had absolutely no suspicion of him, and that my comments were pretty mild- and yet as soon as I mentioned the possibility of multiple groups, or multiple serial killers, he wanted to kill me off as quickly as possible.
(For reasons why I suspect there might be multiple factions, check my post, but it boils down to that Bergioyn wanted us to have specifically 12 people)
So, simply because of that I suspect Isaac.
Moreover, if you check out how he's acted this game, it's definitely been in an "Isaac-scum" way.
Veterans can back me up on this, but Isaac (whether scum or town) characteristically:
- Never lies if he can at all help it.
- Use a large amount of charts/analysis
However, when Isaac is scum, a third item is added:
- Use said charts and analysis to direct attention away from him and his compatriots, or to use only seemingly helpful charts and analysis.
That third item is key. Look at his first survey: it was about names, and whether anyone had any significant names. Here's the thing- he already had a name. He KNEW that his name wasn't significant, and didn't indicate anything.
Since he knew that his name didn't have any meaning behind it, it's extremely unlikely that anyone else would have a name like "Mustache McBadGuy" or "Doc Torperson"
Obviously this is all pretty circumstantial, but I feel pretty confident.
Isaac tried to seem helpful with a useless survey, then tried to lynch the first available target (i.e. me) when I made a guess at a possible role.
Vote: Isaac
I really don't see it. It wasn't a useless an entirely survey and yeah, it was based off of stuff he knew about his own character. It was info gathering and that is usually what happens on day 1. General questions are asked about role messages and people discuss what they can. I don't see how what Isaac did here differed any more from other games, scum or town.
CS/CpE. Yay engineering!
