View original postInteresting choice, to go after Stephen. Was it ever confirmed he/she had investigative abilities, or did we just assume this was the case because of her role? This must be the reason to go after Stephen. NKing any other person at least gave you the chance to kill two players: if you got lucky and killed a player who knew too much, (s)he would be ineligible to replace the modkill.

That's the only reason I can see. Someone killed Stephen because they thought he could be a cop. So we know that there is a scum faction with killing power in addition to Stephen's faction which probably still has killing power and may or may not be scum.

I see two possibilities: 1) He has an investigative power usable at night to discern a player's identity. Or 2) He was part of the same mason group with Stephen and Stephen told him.
