Having made herself so conspicuous, she does not doubt that once the poison begins to work she will be blamed. So despite her bruised state, she scrambles as fast as she can away from the Glowing Embers into the night. Eventually though she circles around, finding a spot near the edge of the tiny village where she can still see the front entrance of the inn. Cursing the cold and the fact that her cloak got left in the private dining room, she hoists herself up into a large oak tree overhanging the path. She finds a comfortable where she can sit quietly and see without being seen, and waits for the other Friends to come out of the inn. She takes stock of the evening - her pride is damaged, but she succeed in poisoning the wine, and from what she gathered as she was being dragged out the giant Tinker had taken it upon himself to serve it to everyone. So the Great Lord's work had been accomplished and that was good enough. A bruised ego would be easily mended by the glory at the day of His Return. And more fools who refused to acknowledge the Great Lord would die. Perhaps the cook would be blamed. She smiles. Her parents would be proud.
