With 16 players we have a lot of options, we also probably don't have to worry over much about losing the whole game if someone slips out a tidbit that is more revealing than they intended. Which is most definetly not to be taken as a thumbs-up for people to start declaring themselves vanilla.

But consider this, we had nine vanillas during the original game version. I suspect we still do, Kronin would have neded to shuffle around some of the special roles, maybe to the point of needing to role/DF one of the vanilla slots, but odds are 9, maybe 8 vanillas. That won't leave room for a second faction, though it might for a SK. We should expect an extra NK role just because we have 16 players, though that isn't certain.

Two obvious setups come to mind:

9 vanilla + 3 roles vs 4 DFs
9 vanilla +3 roles v 3 DFs vs 3 SKs

I'm guessing Imperials = DFs, so to keep to the spirit of Sci-Fi I'll try to calls them imps from now on The townies are specifically refered to as the crew, the SK if it exists is likely to be some killer robot or nutty crewmember. I'd bet on three, possibly two, roles. If anyone has info or clue, nows probably the time for it, otherwise we proceed as normal.
