Arturo was sitting in his study, going over bureaucratic work, when he heard a knock from the door.

"Yes, please, come in."

A messenger entered, handed off a letter, and quickly bowed out at Arturo's signal. Arturo looked over the message, then promptly got up and went to his Lord.

Arturo entered the Duke's chamber letter in hand. "Maestro, we have a letter from a visiting Padre."

The Duke turned, a look of interest on his face. "Oh? What did this Padre have to say?"

"He does not say, my Lord, only that he is on a mission from his Cardinal."

"Hmm.." Cortez thought this over for a short time before turning back to his desk, and penning a short letter. "Have this delivered. It has a date and time for later in the week, with the meeting occurring in the usual place."

"Bueno, maestro." Arturo bowed slightly, and turned to leave. However, as he did, the Duke seemed to think of a last thought.

"Oh, and Arturo. Try to get in touch with some of your contacts, see if they don't have any information on nuestro[our] Padre. And of course, I want you in the Throne Room with me tomorrow."

"Ah, but of course, my Lord." Arturo turned and left, knowing exactly who he would contact.
