On the off chance there was a Deputy (in this case, whoever ended up picking up the amulet, I suppose?) or a Backup Cop. The Deputy often gets the results of the Cop's investigations, so that'd help. And if it doesn't, then we can do this:

The Deputy gets killed, and we start acting on his hypocops, but we do it in reverse order. That way, even if today's hypocop is wrong (due to him NOT receiving the cop's investigation results), we'll still clean out the Darkfriends first.


Hopefully Isaac didn't have some kind of an event where the DFs get to keep the amulet now that they've nightkilled the cop.

Note to newbies: "Hypocopping" is a process where everyone posts as if they were the cop, and says who they investigated and what the results were. Then, when the cop is discovered (generally through his lynch or nightkill), we can look at the archived posts and see the results of his investigations.

Our posts act as camouflage for the cop, so don't necessarily pick someone you think is guilty and post that you found they were guilty. On the other hand, posting that you found someone innocent, and then being in favor of their lynch pretty much shows that you're not the cop. Being mostly-random is best.

tl;dr Hypocopping is when you pick someone random, and randomly say they're guilty or innocent.
