And I was one of the many who saw it all way after the fact and fell in love with it. It WAS an amazing show. I loved it and would have watched faithfully if it had continued (if it had still been on when I watched it). BUT, the stark reality is that not many people watched it when it was on TV. And because so many people who now love it in hindsight like me didn't watch it when it was on TV it was canceled. That's how it works.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
