I've seen others comment on the Wot paralells, and ajah is right about the LoTR parallels, and I saw some Mistborn parallels in this last season.


I don't think any of them were intentional, but they're there. Course, when you consider the Wot parallels are references to older myths and legends, it's gets pretty connected.
