I think that, after the Tardis regenerated, he went back to her. It shows young Amy sitting on her suitcase with the Tardis engine sound, she looks up and smiles, then it cuts back to present Amy. I think he visited her then because, as we know, only certain events are fixed in time, others aren't.

More, possibly, to come as I watch the next few episodes.


That is also when we see someone pass in front of the camera (or a shadow). It isn't prisoner zero, so we assume it must be the Doctor.

I'm talking about the second time we see her with her suitcase, during the day. I can check it again, but I'm pretty sure you only see the shadow the first time.


Yes. I was thinking about that night as one thing, not the individual scenes from it. You are right. The two occur at different points.
