I like how it seems to promise an even longer plot line, although I suppose the identity of the meddler might be revealed in the next special.


In Confidential Moffat said that the identity of the meddler would be dealt with next season, along with River Song. I took that to mean that it would not be dealt with in the Christmas special, but in the series proper.



Ah, I haven't seen Confidential yet. I need to do that.
