Netflix - 28 days later! - Seriously? StormCrow Send a noteboard - 02/07/2010 09:24:02 PM
No, not the movie. 28 days! Why do I have to wait to get Book of Eli until the middle of July when it came out on 6/15?

As some of you may already know, Netflix is hitting a lot of new releases with a 28 day wait before letting their users pick them up (depending on the studio). I just found out yesterday, when I missed out on Book of Eli and Percy Jackson for my son for no apparent reason.

After a year of problems with longer and longer wait periods for new movies, I think this is it for me. I'm going to drop Netflix and go with something else. This should really help some of the other rental outlets, who Netflix seemed to be beating out from a competition standpoint (like Blockbuster).

Anyone use the Blockbuster movies in the mail service? Does it work well?

We do redbox too, but we're way out in the boonies so returning them can be a pain. - 02/07/2010 10:58:28 PM 741 Views
