The objective answer is NEITHER.

If you buy into the movie premise, you are already accepting that the dream-world of the movie is a valid kind of reality! In that case the only consistent answer is SPIN.

(I changed my answer after thinking about this for a while, this is a bit like the liar paradox, if you think the question is answerable you have already accepted the dream-world of the movie 'Inception'! So the only consistent answer is SPIN).
