When did people get to the point that the wanted to watch TV shows that are about absolutely nothing but people making fools of themselves for 15 minutes of fame? I flip through the channels now and 9 out of 10 shows are nothing but Teen Mom, Kate Plus 8, Real World and other shit like that? All that is is drama for the sake of drama. None of these shows has any lasting value beyond when the main people are in the spotlight. Why is it that people seem to care for this crap more than real shows that will last past the current group of people? I watch a few myself-mostly Hell's Kitchen and Chopped-but those actually show people learning something useful. Am I missing something? What's so interesting about seeing the Kardashian sisters in Miami (besides how hot they are)?
Kirk: Spock, you want to know something? Everybody’s human.
Spock: I find that remark…insulting.

I don't mind the contest or career shows, but loathe other reality or matchmaking ones.
