Season 2 has some very good episodes. The second, "Tooth and Claw" is one of my favourites; "School reunion" is sometimes excellent, sometimes very silly (I think it works better if you know Old Who); "The Girl in the Fireplace" is a little out of joint with the story arch, but one of the best stories seen on its own; it also contains the only two Cybermen episodes I have ever really liked; and "The Impossible Planet" and "The Satan Pit" is also a very good double, despite introducing some stuff which Davies gets much too fond of and overuses later on. And the season finale...
I must say that Tooth and Claw and Girl in the Fireplace were both really good episodes. Note to self to look up the actress who was Madamme de Pampano. I've seen her in something else and thought the same thing, but didn't do it.

Or Mansfield Park? She is in both. It is Sophia Myles.
I didn't really enjoy the School Reunion one as much, probably because this is my first foray into the good Doctor. I liked the Cybermen 2 parter better than I thought I would. Is that really the end of Mickey?
