And the italian The Postman is more of a favourite of mine than Cinema Paradiso.

I'd forgotten that film. I loved it when I saw it about ten years ago.

Empire's 100 Best Films of World Cinema Legolas - 31/08/2010 02:50:01 PM 1785 Views
As for my quibbles with the list... Legolas - 31/08/2010 03:01:43 PM 1154 Views
Since it's "World Cinema," does that automatically exclude U.S. films? *NM* Palatine - 31/08/2010 05:51:00 PM 547 Views
It usually means non-English language films *NM* snoopcester - 31/08/2010 06:36:34 PM 523 Views
Not only that, it also seems to exclude British, Australian and other English-language ones. Legolas - 31/08/2010 07:57:19 PM 1007 Views
No one minds Australia's exclusion. All they make is bad Jackie Chan films. *NM* TaskmasterJack - 31/08/2010 10:55:18 PM 422 Views
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert would've been a shoe-in otherwise... *NM* Legolas - 01/09/2010 12:14:28 AM 441 Views

Me too. Pleasantly surprised. *NM* Legolas - 31/08/2010 07:57:47 PM 530 Views

In fairness, Roberto Benigni being an overrated ass doesn't mean his only good film isn't good. Legolas - 01/09/2010 01:01:21 AM 1075 Views
