I haven't seen any of his other films so I'm not sure what to expect really Stephen Send a noteboard - 01/09/2010 04:26:40 PM
I can handle painful issues and disturbing scenes, but Haneke goes a bit far for my taste.

The great thing about it being on tv is that I won't waste any money by deciding I don't like it.
I'm suprised Delicatessen isn't higher. I'd say it's one of the best films I've seen.

Hm, maybe I should check that one out too.

It's post-apocalyptic cannabilesque comedy from the guy who made Amelie. It is quite strange, but very enjoyable.

Empire's 100 Best Films of World Cinema Legolas - 31/08/2010 02:50:01 PM 1785 Views
As for my quibbles with the list... Legolas - 31/08/2010 03:01:43 PM 1154 Views
Since it's "World Cinema," does that automatically exclude U.S. films? *NM* Palatine - 31/08/2010 05:51:00 PM 547 Views
It usually means non-English language films *NM* snoopcester - 31/08/2010 06:36:34 PM 523 Views
Not only that, it also seems to exclude British, Australian and other English-language ones. Legolas - 31/08/2010 07:57:19 PM 1007 Views
No one minds Australia's exclusion. All they make is bad Jackie Chan films. *NM* TaskmasterJack - 31/08/2010 10:55:18 PM 422 Views
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert would've been a shoe-in otherwise... *NM* Legolas - 01/09/2010 12:14:28 AM 441 Views
