I hate the haemorrhaging when a vampire bites you. They love to focus on the two fangs going into the side of the neck, and as they pierce the skin there is suddenly a deluge of blood. What do they think runs there... the aorta??


Well, there is a major vein going through, but it would make more sense for the vampire to drink it all, yes. if they were only interested in minor amounts of blood, surely they could limit themselves to a finger.
