Oh, he's not always the villain in the Holocaust movies.

See, I think he has an expressive face, so maybe you should stop watching the movies where he's the nazi villain.

He's the hero - several of them, actually - in Sunshine, and in The Reader (if you can call that a hero). But still.
As for his sounding like a Belgian... how much experience with Belgians who aren't me do you have, exactly?

For your reference, the main movies I've seen with him are Schindler's List, Sunshine, Constant Gardener, The Reader and the HP movies. There might be others I'm not thinking of now.
Unexpected casting of the good, the bad and the ugly.

Mark Strong played Mr Knightley in a British version of Emma. (Was it ITV?)

I agree, except about Ralph Fiennes. He's just annoying. *NM*

If we could somehow get The Rock to play the tooth fairy, that would be awesome.

That would be nothing compared to Ahnold as either a kindergarten teacher or just plain pregnant.

They keep casting Renee Zellweger as a love interest. Do they hate the male heroes so much?

I liked it when actors switch directions like that, if they do it well.
