Henry the VIII came from Wales. Yet in the series he is just depicted as if he's English.


He was born and raised in England
His great grandfather Welsh though, if that was what you were thinking of and why they had a Welsh family name.

It isn't overly accurate though, I think they're more worried about getting enough sex and violence in. I liked that they had the young Henry VIII as being athletic and attractive but it also now annoys me to make him look old and fat it is a young guy with some grey dye and slightly builkier clothes.
