Hey, remember how River said that empires would kill for a piece of Time Lord DNA? Maybe that's what the Silents are trying to do, build themselves a Time Lord ... obviously for some nefarious purpose. Probably involving a home-made TARDIS. Huh.

It has been said before that only a Time Lord can pilot a TARDIS, so given the look like they'd got one that looks very similar to the one in the Lodger episode then they need a Time Lord - perhaps the little girl was there attempt to grow one of their own. He has been cloned before after all.


If so, it is interesting that his clones keep turning out female :P
