And I just remembered the real revelation (rather than jamie sleeping with cersi) that ned is going to find in the book...how could I have forgotten that the incestous relationships went back through the whole line...man I really need to reread.

is the (scientifically rather dubious, but okay) conclusion that every single time in Seven Kingdoms history that a Baratheon and a Lannister had children together, those got the Baratheon black hair instead of Lannister blonde. Which then of course goes to prove that Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen aren't Robert's children.
