Ideally you'd have 20-ep seasons and would devote 10 eps to each book. But that's very unlikely, and would mean a network, so a much lower budget. 12-ep seasons on cable, with 6 eps per book**, could still work though you'd have to lose a bit more even from the earlier books.
It'd be a very challenging series to do, logistically, but not impossible.
** Still roughly 3 times as much time as Red Eagle's movie adaptation will give per book.
