I wanted to punch him in the face through that whole scene. What an asswipe. Poor Sansa. :(

You actually feel bad for Sansa? I don't at all. She's way too thick skulled for me to feel pity for her.

She ends up constantly physically and emotionally abused by people she once trusted. She's only what, thirteen? She lived a safe and happy life in Winterfell surrounded by honorable people who loved her. She gets totally played by the Queen and Joffrey. I think its extremely sad.

Ah, but see, that makes me annoyed that she would suddenly absolutely distrust that her family/servants might have her best interests at heart. I'm annoyed by how she snipes at her family the whole time. And, completely irrelevant: I have trouble seeing why she'd love Joffrey when he's completely butt ugly. He reminds me of the kid from Children of the Corn. With bleached hair. Secondary tangent: they should have gotten blonde people to play the blonde roles!


She makes awful decisions and is a total airhead. I thought she was really irritating in the first book, but then in the second book I just felt really bad for her because she didn't deserve what happened to her. I think the deal with Joffery is that she was just so enamored of the idea of being in love with a prince that she decided she loved him regardless of what he was actually like. At first, anyway.


You can't tell me she didn't deserve what happened to her in the second book. I would go into further details but will abstain for now.
