2. Shockwave was underutilized and wasted as a mere soldier. "Main villain" my soft fleshy ass! We only saw him in Ukraine with that techno-Shai-Hulud monstrosity and all he says is "Optimus" or "Prime" or both, I forget and then at the final fight scenes. When I first saw him in the promotionals, I thought he would have a bigger role. In Transformers lore, he was supposed to rival Megatron in power and ambition, except far more logical and brutally efficient. Speaking of which, Megatron should have died in Africa (which btw was a horrible scene in and of itself). It would have been awesome if Shockwave deposed the ailing Megatron and took command.

I am not familiar with Transformers lore, but it was rather confusing which bad robot was which and in charge at what point.

I loved "Wash" as Dutch, he was awesome. Along with Malkovitch as the anal-retentive boss. In the job scenes, I was like, why is the movie "Horrible Bosses" doing in Transformers? haha

First I thought "Oh no, now they have to add an over the top gay character" but he redeemed himself in the Russian bar.
Ken Jeong was hilarious as the Wang. HIGH-LARIOUS!

I hated that guy. His scenes were the parts that I would cut from the film if I had the power to

Oh, and it was nice seeing Dempsey as a villain in an action film.

I agree, it was a nice change from his Grey's persona. He was one of the more convincing people in this.

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.
