I think that the Littlefinger/Varys scenes are easily the best additions to the show. Excellently written, and Conleth Hill and Aidan Gillen blow me away in these scenes, which they don't for any other scenes. Awesome chemistry between these actors. I hope they continue adding similar scenes with these two in forthcoming seasons (as the story allows).

Here's a good one of a scene that did not appear in the books but is pretty great.
Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.
