Imagine, a scrawny little nerd like me being friendly with pretty much every "clique" in school. And my situation wasn't unique.
I did have one friend who was put head first into a trash can (as a joke by a mutual friend, who made sure the can was clean first), and another who was regularly put into lockers (but only because he was small enough, and we had his permission beforehand), but the "endemic" apparently didn't make it to our little high school (2500 students over three grades).
