Canton is on the other side of the photo, by his truck. As far as I know, there hasn't been any good theories about who the mystery figure is. I suppose it could just be one of the Silence, or Madame Kovarian, witnessing the death of the Doctor. We know there was at least one of them there already. But if it were that simple, I imagine it would have been mentioned in the season finale, unless Moffat wanted to leave us something to debate over the long break.
