Oh, and while we're at it, might as well add the opinion piece Rebekah just linked to on Twitter as well, in which Erika Christakis explains why Twilight-haters are just misogynists who deny women the right to turn their fantasies into movies as men have done for generations. Or something.

I have a problem with this. I am all for women turning their fantasies into movies, but I have a problem with this fantasy.

1. Those are not Vamps. Vamps do not sparkle...atleast not without vast amounts of glitter, and then I don't think THOSE vamps will be looking for women...

2. This is a fantasy that is sending the wrong message. Let's look at some of the more despicable aspects of Edward Cullen. First, the creepy stalker. He follows her around. Lurking really. He becomes a Peeping Tom to watch her sleep. He is in the first stage of becoming a sexual predator. Not to mention that he is like 200 and still at High School trolling for chicks.

When they split and she leaves, he hunts her down and drags her back instead of respecting the break up.

When she wants to see friends, he rips out the engine of her car so she can't. He is Domineering and jealous as well as trying to isolate her from her friends.

But all this is ok because he loves her? BS. This is anti-feminist in the extreme.
Castle: This is so weird. I dressed up as him for Halloween.

Beckett: Me too.

~When Castle and Beckett met Gene Simmons.
