I usually prefer my television SF to be serious, but recently have found myself hooked on Doctor Who.

And personally, I have to agree, SGU was much more to my tastes than SG1.

But please, don't even call Firefly "serious." It was a campy at times as Buffy ever got. Most definitely not as serious as BSG or SGU.

Firefly, BSG and SGU were more of my taste. The only fluff sci-fi I can handle is Eureka.
Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.

I can't take Dr. Who seriously, and I think that's why I've never cared for it. *NM* - 20/11/2011 02:56:19 PM 137 Views
When did it ever attempt to be serious? *NM* - 20/11/2011 05:32:33 PM 113 Views
It didn't, but that's why *I* can't really get into it. I didn't like SG-1 either, tho it tried. - 21/11/2011 04:12:13 PM 272 Views
