Event Horizon just because of the great special effects, and because it was so evil, it forced you to think about good things for days afterwards.


I liked Event Horizon. It was one of the first horror movies that tried to break a few of the horror cliches. It had intelligent black characters (one of the first horror movies where one survives). The crew immediately decided to leave when they got freaked out. When one guy delivers a line (gives his name and occupation) in a melodramatic fashion, the other characters laugh at him. Plus, it had some really creepy, fucked up moments.
