Okay, not the crazy personal life stuff (that is really cold!). More with the office crap she had/has to deal with.
I don't work in an office but I started my own business, in a male dominated hobby, at a youngish age. It frequently seemed that my customers could not understand that I was the one running things and not my boyfriend or my male friend with a similar business in the same building. The young part is becoming less of a problem every year, but I still often get people going to one of the guys before being directed to me.
I can relate to her being overlooked and credit for her work being given to a male just because he is male.
I am also quiet and not particularly trendy, so it was easy to identify with her early on. Not so much with the Crazy of last season.
And like I said, it's hard to completely like any of them!
