I dunno if I want to say that this is the way I wish the previous trilogy was, but there are certainly elements in this movie that I think will be far superior to those.

So I'll give it a chance. Sure it hasn't been too long, but honestly, this is Spider-man. Or any superhero, really. It's a guy doing super stuff and kicking ass with cool explosions, fights, and other such things. Complaining that there's another Spider-man movie coming out is like complaining that there's a new James Bond movie coming out. Sure they're all just about the same thing, but no one actually cares because it's still pretty cool.
