20 mins until showtime. I have high hopes for this episode. There better be some really wild sh~t hitting the fan!

He has brought to life a character in the books I never really appreciated. I mean when in the books it is commented that Stannis never smiles, well, whatever. But watching this guy play Stannis, shoot, he really never smiles. Stannis is one mean son of a bitch and just an extreme killer like the Hound tells Sansa. He leads into battle and is up on the wall slaughtering Lannisters like it is nothing and doesn't want to retreat. Badass.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...

The final version of the episode was apparently significantly rewritten by the producers.

Yeah, but he didn't even come into the equation in the books. He was a mere playing piece

I liked this episode, but the battles were confusing and kind of a let-down.

I haven't read the books, and the whole ending was quite a confusing sequence.
