The show has gradually lost my interest this last season, and the Battle of the Blackwater was my breaking point. With how "ugh" the finale was, the only reason I'll pay any note to the show in the future is because my wife likes it (and she hasn't read the books, go figure).
Still a huge Martin fan, but that's just the point: this isn't Martin any more, and hasn't really been since Ned's death.
