And then, one could argue, again in the other direction by taking out the Sith Lord when he threatened to kill Luke, one of the very few left on the good side (I should point out I haven't actually seen more than glimpses of Return of the Jedi, so anything I say involving the plot of that movie needs to be taken with several grains of salt...).
