Watched it last night. I loved it. I thought it was cute. I kinda tried to poke holes in it, because I'm old and that's what I do now, but I didn't have the problems with it that other people in this thread did. I did want the alien to get away, and I thought it made sense for the army to be like "well, the tanks are a bust and we're obviously not capable of stopping it with our assault rifles (whatevers), wth are we going to do other than let it go?" (whether the alien deserved it or not - I thought he did)

Also, I realize that maybe nobody will see this, but I didn't think the alien killed anyone other than the people who were attacking it? The sheriff and roller lady were still alive, at least.
