... is if they might change it so that Tywin is the one to off Joffrey, instead of the Tyrells. They haven't really been building up the notion of Joffrey being a threat to Margery. We know he would be, of course, yet the last we saw, she seemed to be doing a decent job of controlling him. But Tywin and Joffrey have been set at odds for a few episodes now, and we have Tywin saying that he'd do anything for the good of his family. Including, maybe, arranging the death of the member who he can see is going to get them destroyed in the future?

That might be a stretch, and there would need to be a reason for him to set Tyrion up to take the fall, but at this point I feel as though Tywin would have much greater motivation than the Tyrells. They built up the Queen of Thorns earlier, and I could have believed her doing it if Joffrey stepped out of line with Margery, but she's vanished lately in favor of the Tywin-Joffrey dynamic, so I have to wonder.
