We theorized that the DHD was fooled into thinking it was on Earth by reprogramming it. You can't change where you are, but you can change where the computer says you are. And, yeah, I think it's closer to Farscape than BSG.
Maybe. I was thinking that too, but between the time Eli mentioned the idea and Rush tried it it was about a 30 second window. I doubt they could have done much of anything in that span of time.
