The problem is not asking people to pay. Plenty of people pay for Netflix just to get their streaming service. The problem is going from free to costing something is almost impossible to do. It isn't an issue of cost, it's an issue of people being willing to pay for something they've received for free in the past.

And I'll believe Hulu is going to charge when I see it. This is exactly the kind of retarded rumor that gains traction on the internet and never gets its wings. Hulu is not owned solely by Fox, and one exec is not going to change the way things are run, no matter how big he thinks his britches are.
