Yes, it is quite likely that other planets would create living conditions that would favor forms and shapes of life much differently than that on earth. To suppose that all other life in the universe was based on such earth-bound models would be ludicrous.
but there's nothing that says they can't be humanoid either. If the same (or similar) pressures are exerted by the alien ecosystem as the pressures that were exerted on earth-based evolution, it's quite likely you would end up with similar creatures.
Oh and there's one other little detail.
